Woman Build of Henderson County, North Carolina

Welcome to Our Home Page!         We are so pleased you are visiting.

After six months of planning, creating a Leadership Council and working committees and sponsoring six hands-on trainings for volunteers that signed on early, we have begun the actual construction of the first-ever Women Build house for Henderson County Habitat for Humanity.   With a pool of willing volunteers and the Espinoza family, the future homeowners, we are on our way.
Now, we need more help.   If you want to learn how to build a house....well, parts of it anyway...join us.   We have friendly folks on site to help us learn the skills we need for each step of the build.   Our key rules are "Be Safe" and "Have Fun"!
Not up to hammering or painting?   We'll need snacks for construction volunteers, food for special events  and people to make phone calls.
And we welcome (no, make that are thrilled) to receive monetary and in-kind donations.   Continue reading through our website.  There is lots of information plus the form for volunteering.   And do remember, we love donations, helping us further along the road to our goal of $60,000.
